The Big Reveal: Tilly's Nursery

Planning and decorating Tilly's nursery was, by far, one of the most exciting steps in preparing for our baby girl.  I LOVED every step of the process--from picking the color scheme to adding the final decorative touches.  And I could not be happier with how it turned out!  Of course, there were a few  stressful moments during those few weeks... I mean c'mon, this is ME we're talking about--Mrs. OCD-it's not finished until I say so-perfectionista... But, my amazing husband has learned how to deal with this adorable side of of my personality, and we survived those few little hiccups without too much pain! :) Even before we knew that we were having a girl, we decided that we would paint the nursery walls a pale gray.  Then, depending on whether we were having a boy or a girl, we would add touches of color to accent.  Once we found out that were expecting a daughter, we easily decided to accent with pale pinks and white.  Of course, I scoured Pint...

Preparing for Tilly's Arrival: Registries and Baby Showers

Like a car seat saver? And what's the different between a mattress pad and a waterproof pad for the crib mattress?  So, ...

It's Been a Few Weeks...

It's been a few too many weeks since my last post!  But it seems that when you are working a full time job, trying to spend as much time with your husband as you can while it's "just us two", and preparing for the sweet bundle of joy that will forever change your life, blog posts don't really stand out as a priority.  I do love writing these posts though.  And I know that a few years from now, when people ask me about my pregnancy, I'll be glad that I have these posts, even if only a few of them, to remember what my pregnancy was like. A lot has been going on since my last post about our "Little Man or Little Miss" gender reveal party... -I got to celebrate my first "unofficial" Mother's Day, and my sweet husband surprised me with a gorgeous baby book for our baby girl: -Tilton got to celebrate his first "unofficial" Father's Day, and I surprised him with this hilarious--or at least I think so--onsie: I bought ...
