Becoming a Runner: Week 1 Update

I survived “Week 1” of making myself a runner!  Woohoo! As I mentioned in my previous post , the first goal that I set out to accomplish in my 29 th year, is to make myself a runner.  While browsing Pinterest , I came across a post from Skinnyms.com  called “ 30-day Beginner’s Running Challenge ” , and I accepted the challenge as the first step in achieving my goal.  I began running the day following my 29 th birthday, and am proud to say that I’ve successfully completed my first week (and then some…I’m a few days behind on posting this update)! This is the routine that was suggested in the original post that I found: Routine: Day 1:  1 mile jog(Considering you’re a beginner, maybe you’ve never ran a mile before. Whoa! It's been a while...

September 15, 2013.   That was the date of my last post.   That was just two days before my somewhat calm life was turned upside down…   Just two days before my heart was stolen and I was changed forever… Just two days before I gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl I’ve ever laid eyes on. And A LOT has changed since then!  Our baby girl is now 15 months old, and growing and changing faster than this momma can handle.  I find myself constantly begging time to slow down. Tilton started his own photography business ( Tilton Newman Photography ).  Proud doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this man and his accomplishments! And I’ve somehow managed to balance my home life with my work life, and have adjusted to my new role as (working) "Momma".
